Music produced for Pauline Laplace's short "Bison 6".
This was our second collaboration together. The film takes place in the suburbs of west Paris. Most of the story takes place in the squares and parks surrounded by the giant figures of the high-rises and we wanted to musically suggest this height, a soaring camera eye looking down on the story below.
The score process reflects our experiments at the time in trying to articulate free improv material production with the event-related rigour of music to picture. Mainly by conceiving some simple guidelines (note restrictions and schematic graphical elements) specifically performed and recorded (but not to picture) and then used as base material in a series of concrète compositions (to picture).

The result is a 27 minute suite (tracks 1 to 6).

This release includes 4 bonus tracks ! ("Tigre" a timeline orphan that uses the film's sample set, the film edit version of the finale from the suite ("My Boo") orginally the end credit music, and 2 exports of sound design drones made for the film.
