Music for Pauline Laplace's feature documentary "Un tout petit pays", a portrait of anarchist Parisian kioskier Patricio Salcedo.
Work on the music began in 2018.
At one point in the film Partricio talks about when as a teenager, he managed to win over a group of seasoned Spanish anarchists by singing them the revolutionary song "A las Barricadas".
Listen to that song.
We tried to keep the feeling that it evoked in mind whilst working on the soundtrack, a certain historicity, a modernist optimism in the power of Big Ideology.
The music is a 15 minute suite (tracks 1 to 6), 7 and 8 are experiments with the Barricade song.
