Music made for Dorian Lebeau and Adrien Pagotto's 2019 feature length documentary "Impressions" that explores the practice of three artist-book makers.
The idea here was to try to evoke the historical weight of text illumination and book making and to conjure up the idea of something both ancient and arcane and yet hyper-actualized its manufacturing process.
The score goes back and forth beetween manipulated swelling string and synth drones and industrious guitar lines.

"Impressions" was produced by Niveau 5 productions as was the score
